Our Story: Where Dancers Soar

A Message from our Founder, Leta
"Hi! I’m Leta. I’m 14 years old, I’m a member of Emmy-Nominated Chloe Arnold's SoleTalk, and I’m a tap dancer (I actually kind of hate ballet!). I started Autistic Wings Dance Company because I wanted to create a place where dancers like me could soar on their wings.
I named the studio after my favorite tap step—a nod to my mentor, Chloe Arnold. To me, 'Wings' isn't just a step; it's a reminder that every autistic dancer has the potential to fly if they have the right stage."
Our Mission: No Dancer Turned Away
We are a nonprofit dance studio specifically for autistic dancers. We believe that rhythm is a universal language and that financial barriers should never stand in the way of art.
That is why 100% of the proceeds from this store go directly to our Scholarship Fund.
Currently, 100% of our dancers are supported by scholarships. Your purchase ensures that:
-
No dancer is ever turned away because they can’t afford to pay.
-
Our dancers have a safe, sensory-friendly environment to express themselves.
-
We can keep making noise (and making sure babies don't cry!).
